Byford .... Tho' there were many who were closer friends to you than I, I truly regreted to hear of your untimely death ... I often think from time to time about the good times we all had together before you went into the service. I know that Clint & Verlaine, Tom & Darlene, Bob O., Tim A. & Don A. all missed you a great deal after your death ... and quite likely still do. I know you were doing what you felt you had to do ... I hope, somehow, your efforts made a difference. May you rest in eternal peace ... perhaps you and Bob O. and Don A. are still together ... I hope so. Sincerely .. G.V.
