  • Pfc Jerry R. Cole, Muskegon, MI
  • Pfc Thomas P. Duggan, Berkeley, CA
  • Pfc Alvin R. Gale, Hyde Park, MA (Navy Cross)
  • Pfc Gary L. Squiers, Toledo, IA
  • Pfc William M. Thomas, Carlsbad, NM
Pfc Alvin Gale, who accompanied 2ndLt Jones in an effort to recover a wounded Marine, also was awarded the Navy Cross.
