Rusty,

I always knew that I'd miss you...
but I never ever knew how much.
I love you, I miss you and I wish you were here.

I was Rusty's girlfriend ... if anyone has any information about his death please share ... it's been a very long 37 years

Five men from C Company, 2nd of the 47th Infantry, were killed by an "explosive device" on 03 Feb 1969:
  • SGT Russell T. Fant, Bridgeport, CT;
  • SGT Ernest A. Spong, Oklee, MN;
  • SP4 Gary L. Glear, Silex, MO;
  • PFC William H. Miller, Sidney, OH; and
  • PFC Jon S. Rasmussen, Portland, OR.
