A Note from The Virtual WallOn 19 Jan 1968 elements of B Company, 1/5th Infantry, were escorting a convoy through the Ben Cui Rubber Plantation when an APC was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade. Two men died in the explosion; the third was shot to death while trying to pull the wounded driver from the APC. The three men killed in the incident were
