I only knew James McClurg for a few hours back in the fall of 1969. His brother Gary was my 6th grade football coach (the Jets). Gary was gone for a game, and James coached us that day. He was a fine man, and I really liked him. A year later I heard he was killed in Vietnam and was greatly saddened. I would like to send or receive an e-mail from his brother Gary McClurg who set up this wonderful tribute to James.
