Private First Class Daniel Lee Fields was a Rifleman in the 3rd Sqd, 3rd Plt, Co B, 1st Bn, 35th Inf, 3d Bde Task Force, 25th Inf Div. I was his Sqd Leader. PFC Fields was killed in action in the Ia Drang Valley (Pleiku Province). He was an outstanding Soldier who gave all on that fateful day of 3 Jul l966.

He will never be forgotten and is sadly missed by me.
