Often wonder how much more fun things would of been if only you were with us.  | 
The update to this page began with the submission of two photos to post from his sister in Kansas.  Additional research 
revealed PFC Ward was killed while on a combat operation when a booby trap was detonated. 
 
 Photo taken when PFC Ward was on a fire support base. Notice the Armored Personnel Carrier over his left shoulder parked between the sandbagged bunkers. Date and location unknown.

PFC Ward is buried in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita, Kansas.  At the time of his death, he was survived 
by his mother, Ada R Ward. He was pre-deceased by his father, Earl R Ward, a World War II Veteran, on June 28, 1958.  Earl was a Technical 
Specialist (Level 4) with the 10th Tank Battalion, Division unknown but most likely part of the 10th Division.
